Science continues to prove the powerful healing and therapeutic benefits of being out in nature. While we can add all sorts of enrichment and activity to our dogs lives (and those things do go a long way!) time in nature is truly the best enrichment we can offer our dogs.
Adventures big and small
Nature time can be as simple as a short trip to your local park or can be a full immersion experience visiting nearby dog-friendly conservation spots. Notice how you yourself feel in these spaces, take in the sights, sounds, smells and really be present in that moment. Explore and connect, find that moment of joy, that moment of peace; appreciate your dog and allow both of you the time to decompress.
Back in 2006 when we started A Dog’s Life, we aimed to create a space that allowed dogs to be dogs: exercising, socializing and moving together through nature as their ancestors would have done generations ago. We began offering small group off-leash hikes around Boston and saw first hand the transformative effects this had for our clients. As we have grown we have expanded our offerings to reach dogs far and wide. Our company mission is to help pups and their people live their best lives; exploring, connecting, and finding peace through nature. We couldn’t imagine a more fulfilling purpose and are happy to welcome you to our ADL family.

It Takes A Village
Learning a new skill can be a challenge. Working with a living being with thoughts and feelings of their own, who speaks an entirely different language, can make the learning process that much more challenging. Just like with our children, it can take a village to raise a happy balanced pup. All too often, people spend their lives living with frustration and never quite achieving the relationship they want with their dog.
We wanted to make that process easier and help others meet their goals. Every dog deserves enrichment and adventure to live their best lives. And so we created our Best Life Box freedom and fulfillment kits with the Best Life Buddies support community.
For the avid (or aspiring) adventurer, our quarterly Freedom kits are packed with outdoor gear, enrichment toys and feeders, treats, chews and more; carefully curated for a whole season of enrichment and adventure.
