Adventure Hikes

Not your average dog walk.

Designed to give your pup the opportunity to sniff, explore, and simply be a dog

our adventure hikes provide the exploration, positive reinforcement, and mental stimulation to tire and fulfill our dogs

OUR HIKING WAITLIST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO INDUSTRY-WIDE STAFFING SHORTAGES.

ABOUT OUR HIKES

We believe every dog deserves to live their best life and our hikes were created to do just that. Exercise and socialization are key for a happy, balanced, well-behaved dog. Our off-leash hikes are made up of small groups (4-6 dogs) led by an experienced, knowledgeable adventure leader.

This allows your dog to run, play, and explore in their natural environment while reinforcing proper dog behavior and social skills ( using positive reinforcement based training methods). At the end of the trip, your dog returns home tired, happy, and fulfilled.

Not sure if you’re in our area? Check our service area map!

What does it entail?

Each hike includes 1 hour of hike time plus transportation to and from your home, daily reports with photos, and your pup returned towel dried if necessary. Your pup enjoys the bonus of honing their manners and obedience by hiking with our highly trained staff, many of whom are dog trainers themselves.

When do we hike?

We hit the trails mornings and afternoons Monday through Friday.

How much does it cost?

Single Hike:

$50 per hike, or $85 for two dogs on a single hike.

Full-Day Hikes:

$85 per full-day (two hikes).

Two-dog households enjoy this special rate at no extra cost for full-day adventures.

Due to the specialized nature of our hikes and limited spots available, we have a two hike per week minimum and limited cancellation policy.

*We are fully insured with Pet Sitters Associates and our whole team is pet first aid and cpr certified*

Is my dog a good fit?

In order to safely lead our groups, all dogs joining our adventure hikes should have the following skills and attributes:

  • experienced off leash with a reliable recall

  • plays well with others - no bullying behavior, remains in control while playing, no excessive humping, etc

  • no aggression towards other dogs or humans (we are pro-muzzle and think they are an excellent, underutilized, tool! dogs who have had reactivity and muzzle training and now meet the above criteria are welcome)

Missing one of these? Check out our training page to see how we can help!
